Review:

Don't use Spark!!!

I had Spark at my last address for about a year. The deal I signed up to with them gave me me 12th month free which i thought was quite good. Then I needed to move house and wanted to take them with me. After 6 months in my new property they still hadn't set up my account at my new address despite my phoning them every week. Each week they would apologise but the following week still nothing would have progressed. They promised to get people to call me but no-one ever did. So in the end I told them to forget it and send me my final bill which I was still waiting for from the previous property.

ONE YEAR later after following their complaints procedure from start to finish they finally sent me my final bill with a cheque as I was in credit on the account.

If that isn't bad enough, now a year since I last heard from Spark they have written to me I owe them £1000! I phoned them straight away and they said they could see there was something not quite right... they promised to phone me back but they haven't. I emailed their complaints department to start a new formal complaint (lessons learned from last time!) and that was a week ago and so far I've heard nothing back whatsoever.

I'm now in touch with trading standards and the energy ombundsman.

What an absolute nightmare!
